Civilian builds: solo and team role priorities

Plan civilian builds in Halloween: The Game around solo survival, resident rescue or objectives, then save a loadout using your owned cards.

Official sources · Reviewed September 7, 2026. Gameplay can change between builds. Tactical recommendations below are editorial advice, not measured rankings.

What should a solo player prioritize?

A self-sufficient route matters more than a perfect-looking loadout. Choose a character whose visible stats fit how you move and interact. Read every equipped card description, and do not confuse a temporary upgrade with permanent progression.

What changes in a group?

Agree on who is checking the next objective and who is helping residents. Avoid four players selecting the same job without a reason. If the plan relies on one person carrying a rare card, decide what happens when that card does not appear.

How do I compare two builds?

Record the map, character, starting item, equipped cards, version and reason the match ended. A useful comparison explains what changed. One strong game is not evidence of an S-tier deck.

Use the role finder to choose a stat focus and the build planner to save your plan. Recommendations are editorial starting points; we have not run controlled performance testing.
