Michael Myers guide: Stalk, Shape Jump & target priority

Start with this Halloween: The Game Michael Myers guide for target selection, Stalk, Shape Jump, concealed approaches and deciding when to end a chase.

Official sources · Reviewed September 7, 2026. Gameplay can change between builds. Tactical recommendations below are editorial advice, not measured rankings.

What should Michael do first?

Read the Special Targets at the start of the match. These are priority victims with extra rewards if eliminated within the stated time. Choose a nearby opportunity rather than following a route copied from another match.

Why does Stalk matter?

Killer Sense switches to a first-person view used to focus on residents. Stalk improves tracking and access to executions. Our recommendation is to study sightlines in story mode, then practice ending an approach near cover. Exposure while watching a target is still exposure.

Why can’t I use Shape Jump here?

The official rule requires darkness or being outside a resident’s line of sight when entering and exiting Shape Jump. It is a movement tool with conditions. Break visibility or change your approach when an activation fails. Check the ability reference for the loadout structure.

When should I stop chasing?

Reconsider a chase when it pulls you toward prepared defenders or far from your priorities. Ask what the chase is buying. A short reposition toward another vulnerable resident can be more useful than several empty swings. Treat police pressure as a reason to evaluate the area, not proof you should fight everyone there.
