Escape routes: cars, Storm Cellar & when to commit

Plan Halloween: The Game escape routes around your current match requirements, with car and Storm Cellar context and advice on when to leave.

Official sources · Reviewed September 7, 2026. Gameplay can change between builds. Tactical recommendations below are editorial advice, not measured rankings.

What should I confirm before collecting items?

Name the intended escape, check the displayed requirements and agree who is carrying each required piece. Compare what is missing with the safer alternatives. Avoid mixing instructions for two different exits.

What about a car or Storm Cellar?

Inspect the interaction in this match. We have not verified every repair part or cellar prerequisite and will not invent a fixed recipe. If you find an apparently ready exit, check whether its interaction actually allows you to leave before sending the whole team there.

When should I stop looting?

Once the route can be completed, extra looting needs a specific reason. Our advice is to assemble nearby teammates, communicate the departure, and avoid activating a noisy sequence while a needed carrier is still far away. If Michael arrives, have an alternate route rather than improvising at a dead end.

Use map landmarks and the opening checklist to prepare.
