Major story spoilers · Community route · Checked September 7, 2026. The successful-run report explicitly says its author does not know which extra steps are necessary. This site has not independently reproduced the unlock.
What order does the reported successful run use?
Use the community Challenge 6 walkthrough as a sequence, not proof of hidden rules:
| Stage | Reported action | Watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Annie | Follow her routine, build Stalk and enter the car for the scripted kill | Let the scene reach the car setup |
| Bob and Lynda | Observe the couple from the downstairs closet | Finish any living-room stalking attempt before they separate |
| Bob | Use the kitchen-wall execution, then collect the sheet and glasses | Preserve Lynda’s next scene |
| Lynda | Appear in the ghost disguise, then use the telephone execution during her call | Keep the sheet on for this sequence |
| Laurie | Let her discover the staged scene, flee and reach the concluding encounters | Avoid an ordinary kill that ends the sequence early |
The report continues through the downstairs and upstairs closet confrontations with Laurie. Follow the active story prompts to completion rather than substituting a generic execution. The broader Chapter 4 overview explains why named victims should be reserved for named tasks.
How do I preserve the Bob-and-Lynda stalking window?
This is Challenge 5, which the reported Challenge 6 run also performs. The focused living-room walkthrough describes moving from upstairs into the coat closet beside the front door once the couple arrives.
From the closet, build level-3 Stalk on Bob first and Lynda second. If Bob is hard to target because Lynda overlaps him, the guide recommends aiming lower toward his feet. Complete both meters before Lynda leaves the couch; interrupting the couple early loses that scene’s opportunity. It also recommends building Bloodthirst before the babysitter sequence to improve stalking speed.
Keep this requirement distinct in your notes. Completing Challenge 5 alongside a successful Challenge 6 attempt does not, by itself, prove that Challenge 5 is a prerequisite. For the mechanics, see Stalk and Killer Sense.
Which extra steps are unconfirmed?
The successful-run report includes precautions such as admiring a kill. Those details describe one attempt; they do not isolate the cause of the unlock. We cannot establish a no-sprinting rule, a required difficulty setting or a mandatory pause duration from that report.
On a retry, record which stage you changed. Changing several speculative conditions at once may produce a successful run without explaining why it worked. Keep the visible challenge text, the story objective and any community precaution as separate notes.
What should I do when the full sequence does not register?
First compare the kill method and scene timing at each named stage. Then finish the chapter and check saved challenge progress. If the result still disagrees, record the platform and build with your route rather than declaring a universal fix.
Hotfix 1 addressed some challenge tracking but did not identify a complete fix for this exact sequence. Return to the story challenge directory for the other chapter routes.
