What can I use to orient myself?
The official map feature identifies a pay phone outside Patty’s Pub. Treat that as a described landmark; check whether the phone is usable in your current match. Other landmarks include Hill Garden Center, the post office, Margie’s Auto Repair and the cemetery.
How should I plan my first route?
Our recommendation is to identify a nearby landmark, an alternate path and a place where you can break visibility. Do not cross an exposed area solely because it is the shortest line on a map. Before entering a building, consider the route you would use if the entrance became unsafe.
